Selection for the West Indies cricket team is responsibility of the West Indies Cricket Board under the Law of West Indies Cricket Board. West Indies won the International Cricket Council ICC Cricket World Cup twice in 1975 & 1979. International Cricket Council Cricket World Cups was a great big achievement in the history of Cricket. West Indies never won any Twenty20 World cup.
