Sri Lankan Cricket Board is the member of International Cricket Council ICC. International Cricket Council (ICC) Governing Body recognized the Sri Lankan Cricket Board under the law of International Sri Lankan Cricket Team in 23 July 1981. Selection for the Sri Lankan cricket team is responsibility of the Sri Lankan Cricket Board under the Law of Sri Lankan Cricket Board. Sri Lanka won the International Cricket Council ICC Cricket World Cup in 1996. Cricket World Cup 1996 was a great and first big achievement in the history of Cricket. Sri Lanka won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002.
